I've been music obsessed my whole life, from listening to my dads record collection of greatest hits and definitive albums, as well as attending every gig I could get to. Age 14 I would be slogging it performing in pubs and army bases providing entertainment for rowdy crowds. These experiences made me live breathe and want to perform music for the rest of my life. Along the way, I've been fortunate to collaborate with talented producers and work in esteemed studios such as Abbey Road, Metropolis, RYP and Henwood Studios on various recordings.

In my role as a member of alternative rock band Third Lung, I've had an amazing time performing at various venues and festivals across the U.K. including 02 Academies, Lakefest, Fi Fest, Wey fest and The Great Escape Festival. My bass lines have provided the low end on the airwaves of notable radio stations including BBC Radio 6, BBC Scotland, Sirius XFM and Amazing Radio. Additionally, I've found fulfilment in sharing my knowledge with aspiring musicians through my teaching business, Jacques Bass.

My academic background, including a Masters Degree in Music and Sound and a First-Class Honors BA Degree, has provided me with a solid foundation. Yet, I recognize that true expertise comes not only from formal education but also from years of hands-on experience and a continual hunger for growth.
